This warranty extends only to the product’s original purchaser. Broken knife tips, discolorations and rust spots are not covered. In case of claims please contact our local dealer or distributor in your market, or Morakniv as a last resort if there is no dealer in your country.
If it is a confirmed warranty issue a replacement knife will be sent as soon as possible at the expense of Morakniv. We might charge you a fee for return shipment if we come to the conclusion that your knife was damaged due to one of the following reasons.
Damage caused by misuse or abuse
Failure to care, clean and maintain your knife (learn about knife care)
Damage due to self-repair, modifications, normal wear or dismantling
Let us know what happened and describe how you have used the knife. Email your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address to your local dealer or to firstname.lastname@example.org. Attach a picture of the knife as well as batch number located on the label if possible.
If we need the knife back in order to further analyze the defect we recommend that you send us the knife with insured package and send it by a certified receipt that can be tracked if necessary. Note that knife loss, including shipping to and from the distributor is not covered under warranty.
