The board of Morakniv AB has appointed Johan Burtus as the new CEO of Morakniv AB. Johan Burtus tillträder den 1 februari 2021. “With Johan, Morakniv’s journey into the world will continue at an even higher pace than before,” says Pierre Bengtsson, Chairman of the board of Morakniv AB. “I am happy for the trust the board shows me, and it will be extremely fun and exciting, but also challenging, to return to Mora to become CEO of Morakniv.
Morakniv wins first prize for the commercial “Morakniv Classic. Make History.” In the category Film commercials together with Kojan Film, Ember Light and Consid Communication. The Swedish Publishing Prize is Sweden’s most comprehensive communication competition and has since 1990 awarded editorial and marketing communication. The Jury’s motivation reads: “For a well-thought-out and creative idea that reflects quality and craft tradition.”
It is with a heavy heart we have decided to cancel the upcoming Morakniv Adventure 2021. The event was earlier postponed from May 2020 to the next year. “It was a very difficult decision, but the right one under the present circumstances of the ongoing pandemic. With no likelihood of any respite in the foreseeable future, safeguarding the health and well-being of all adventurers and staff is of paramount importance.” Says Dennis Becker, Sales & Marketing Director at Morakniv.

The new Morakniv Steak Knife Classic & Masur (S) takes both the table setting and the culinary experience to new heights. The new version Morakniv Steak Knife Classic (S) has been upgraded with a characteristic barrel-shaped and red-stained handle of Swedish birch. The shimmering staining allows you to still feel the genuine texture of the wood.
