On Monday the January 25 th we launched 130 numbered Mora 2000 (S) Anniversary Edition in Morakniv Concept Store in Mora and at 130.morakniv.com. We are overwhelmed by the huge interest that unfortunately resulted in a rush on our website. We regret that our technical preparations were not sufficient when thousands of visitors from all over the world tried to order our knives at the same time. Unfortunately, this created complications for our servers.

Right now, we analyse what happened so we can prevent it from happening again. We are sorry that the experience was not the same for everyone, but we hope that you look forward to continue celebrate our 130th anniversary as much as we do. The succeeding unnumbered Mora 2000 (S) Anniversary Edition will be available during this spring and will only be manufactured during the anniversary year 2021.

Has my order been completed?
When our server was overloaded, only the luckiest got through with their order. Unfortunately, we have noticed that order confirmations have been sent out to too many people and if you have received any kind of confirmation e-mail, we encourage you to contact butiken@morakniv.se for status.

I have paid but not received any order confirmation from Morakniv?

Why did Morakniv not interrupt sales when the server was overloaded?

We at Morakniv were not sufficiently prepared for the enormous interest. When the problem was a fact, we did everything in our power to increase capacity and once the site got started, sales and speed picked up faster than we could handle.

I had products in my shopping cart but could not go to checkout or pay?

This problem occurred when the server was overloaded. Because of this, unfortunately, more than 130 visitors were allowed to add products to shopping carts.
