Morakniv proudly presents a complete new hunting range, including nine different products that can come in handy during and after the hunt. To meet the increasing demand, we have developed five new butcher knives and a sharpening steel that meet the hunter’s various needs after the hunt.
To meet the increasing demand, we have developed five new butcher knives and a sharpening steel that meet the hunter’s various needs after the hunt. The butcher knives included in our new Hunting knife series are based on decades of knowledge of ergonomics and blade technology from the knives we manufacture for the food industry under the Frosts brand. We are also introducing a brand-new knife case with space for five butcher knives, which allows safe storage and transport of the butcher tools.
The sequel to Mora 2000, which for more than 30 years has been the hunter’s first choice for a hunting knife, is now followed by the new Kansbol Hunting. Colour-matched for the hunter, the knife with its polished profile-ground blade made of recycled Swedish stainless steel has exemplary features for when you need to game.
Last and least, the new Eldris with Belt-loop hunting series enters, also colour-matched for the hunter. Eldris is the perfect small knife for game thanks to its short, profile grind blade. In addition, it is compatible with fire steel, which means that the heat of the campfire is always close at hand.
The products in the new hunting range are sold separately and offers the opportunity to combine products as desired.
“Being able to choose which knives I need in a kit means that I get the best ones during and after the hunt,” says hunter Jonatan Smedberg.
In our long experience of developing knives for various specific purposes, we have over the years developed a sharp expertise in knife knowledge which, in combination with craftsmanship, modern technology and high-quality durable materials, makes us unique. Since 2016, part of the manufacturing process has been powered by 100% green electricity in the knife factory in Mora, Sweden.
It is against this background that we are now launching new knives together with a carefully selected Swedish stainless knife steel with a recycling rate exceeding 80%.
