The return of Morakniv Woodcarving knives in laminated carbon steel: Here to stay

As of April 11, 2023, we are happy to announce that our popular woodcarving knives in laminated carbon steel are back in stock. The old stalwarts have been upgraded, and the blades are now polished to further reduce the risk of corrosion.

We carry a wide range of woodcarving knives, from a beginner to a professional level. The laminated carbon steel woodcarving knives have an unparalleled toughness that can withstand lateral bending, without breaking the blade. This is thanks to the three layers of steel that are fused under tremendous forces in the rolling mill. It creates a legendary resistance that enhances its carving properties. As a result, they are appreciated by our best craftsmen, such as Jögge ‘surolle’ Sundqvist and Beth Moen, as well as by generations of craftsmen who love carving.

For carving beginners and newcomers, we continue to offer our carbon steel range, making your woodcarving a fun experience. The polished blades are razor sharp and can easily be resharpened when needed.

Looking for a more creative form of woodcarving? Try out our assortment of hook knives with recycled Swedish high-quality steel, well known for their edge retention.

We wish you a safe, fun, and pleasant woodcarving experience!
