Processing personal data

Personal data is all information regarding an identified or identifiable physical person, such as, for example, name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. When you provide your personal data to Morakniv you must feel reassured. The processing of personal data occurs in accordance with the regulations in the Swedish privacy legislation and data protection regulation (GDPR) that comes into force within the EU on the 25th May 2018. You must be over 18 years of age to provide personal data to us. If it comes to our knowledge that we have collected personal data about a person under 18 years of age, we take steps to delete the information as soon as possible. The personal data that is registered via the website, or in any other way conveyed to Morakniv, is never sold to a third party for commercial purposes.

Third party suppliers

Morakniv uses third part suppliers such as, but not exclusively, IT consultants to be able to fulfil the delivery of our products and services. Morakniv establishes a personal data processor agreement for all these cases between Morakniv and third parties.

Personal data for marketing purposes

An acceptance of our privacy policy also means that Morakniv uses your provided personal data for marketing and market research. The aim is to create a better experience as Morakniv continuously works to improve and optimise the quality of our products and services (for example, by displaying content that may be of interest to you and supplying more relevant information to you). In the event you no longer wish to receive marketing please contact us and indicate that you do not wish to be contacted for marketing purposes.

How long is personal data stored for?

We store your personal data for as long as you are customer of Morakniv, or are in any other way an active with Morakniv, for example, through contact with our customer services or sales representatives or hold an account on our web shop.

Regardless of whether you are a customer or active with Morakniv, we will also keep your personal data for as long as we are required by accounting law or in accordance with other applicable laws.

The consent that your personal data is used for market communications applies (unless otherwise specified in specific offers) for as long as we have stated above.
