The blade is razor-sharp and holds its edge exceptionally well, making it perfect for various tasks, from carving to slicing. The built-in fire starter is a fantastic addition, providing convenience and reliability, especially for outdoor adventures. The handle is comfortable to grip, even for extended periods, and the overall construction feels solid and durable. I highly recommend this knife to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile tool for their outdoor activities.

The Companion Spark is the last Mora that I have bought. It has a Skandi grind profile of the blade, that is made of Swedish stainless steel, and its spine has a 90° sharp angle to have an easy use with the ferro-rod integrated in the knife. The handle has a friction grip, at the bottom there is the integrated ferro-rod and a lanyard hole to tide a piece of paracord that comes with the knife. At the moment I have just used it at home, to do minor bushcraft hand works like feather sticks (see the photo) and it worked perfectly, so I am pretty sure this knife will make his work even in the great outdoors.

I have used this knife exclusively the last 2 or 3 years and I couldn’t be more impressed. I’ve used to open cans but also to skin fur in the same day. Hundreds of hikes and canoe trips. The only thing I can say is the fire starter has worn down and will suddenly fall off somewhere, now I carry it without. I wish they also sold a more pliable sheath as this one will dig into you while sitting.

I have owned the Companion Spark for a little over a year. I own better knives, but those knives were 3x more expensive. At this price point, you will not find a better knife. And to be honest, I use this knife more than my better knives because I am not afraid to lose the Spark…I would but another Morakniv in a heart beat. Great product.

I bought a Companion Spark as my outdoors knife while taking a course in outdoors survival. I was very impressed by the sharpness the knife was delivered with and as it has held its edge the entire half year I have used it (which has been quite frequently and not always gently). It’s a handy size and the shape of the blade lends it to be a jack-of-all-trades deal. It’s also extraordinarily useful to have a fintsteel in the knife so that I haven’t had to worry about where to carry an extra with me. I would recommend this knife to one who is starting to have an interest in the outdoors as well as those that are more seasoned but prefer good quality for an affordable price.
