This is a classic outdoor knife that can be used in many different situations. Designed for the hunter, the knife is excellent for when you need a safe and versatile tool close at hand. The blade is made of recycled Swedish stainless steel and has long-lasting sharpness.
The ergonomic handle features a soft friction grip, finger guard and a 2.5 mm thick profile-ground blade made of recycled Swedish stainless steel, which provides both strength and stability in every cut. Thanks to the blade and handle design, the knife is ideal for working safely and efficiently in various weather conditions during all seasons of the hunt. The polymer knife sheath is symmetrical, which means it suits both right and left-handed users, and has a leather strap made of Swedish vegetable-tanned leather that can be attached easily to your belt. Since its launch in 1991, the knife has been a modern classic and is now a true icon.

Got the mora 2000 from my grandpa over 15 years ago and it’s still amazing

I’m using my 2000 to process my second buck of the season. This knife can do almost everything and, despite owning MANY knives, it has become my go-to.

I highly recommend the Mora 2000 knife for any outdoor activities. I received mine as a gift from a Swedish officer I worked with while serving in Kosovo in 2009. This knife has been with me in Afghanistan, Ukraine and Qatar. It was stolen from my luggage in an airport in Washington state, but fortunately the police got it back and returned it to me. It has been hanging on my uniform belt since 2009 (minus the time it was stolen) and is there now as I write this review. It is worth twice the asking price, so take advantage of the opportunity!

I picked one of these up in a trade with a Swedish soldier during the Nijmegen Four Days march in 2005. It was my constant companion over the following eleven years of Army service, including ten months in Afghanistan where I used it pretty much every day. I’ve had it for seventeen years now and still use it frequently. I holds an edge very well (used it to strip electrical wire in Afghanistan) and it is still going strong. Best knife I’ve ever owned.

EXELENT QUALITY KNIFE FOR THE PRICE, GREAT KNIFE.

Fantastisk kniv. Hårt stål som flexar innan det går av. Den tunna delen längst fram gör att kniven skär lätt. Jag använde den proffesionellt. Tyvärr har de affärer jag besöker slutat sälja den.

A perfect companion in the forest. It was my first Mora I bought it in 2008 and used it all over the world, from jungle and rain forest to desert and tundra and it always served like a champ 13 years (and a lot of resharpening) later. When anyone asks about getting their first proper knife I direct them to the 2000 without fail.
