The ergonomic handle features a soft friction grip, finger guard and a 2.5 mm thick profile-ground blade made of recycled Swedish stainless steel, which provides both strength and stability in every cut. Thanks to the blade and handle design, the knife is ideal for working safely and efficiently in various weather conditions during all seasons of the hunt. The polymer knife sheath is symmetrical, which means it suits both right and left-handed users, and has a leather strap made of Swedish vegetable-tanned leather that can be attached easily to your belt. Since its launch in 1991, the knife has been a modern classic and is now a true icon.

This knife is not fire steel compatible
This means that we have prioritized a sharp and durable edge together with a firm grip, which means that the appearance of the blade back is not given as much space. If you use this knife in contexts other than those intended, remember that it has this unpolished blade back – so it cannot be used with a fire starter.
I picked one of these up in a trade with a Swedish soldier during the Nijmegen Four Days march in 2005. It was my constant companion over the following eleven years of Army service, including ten months in Afghanistan where I used it pretty much every day. I’ve had it for seventeen years now and still use it frequently. I holds an edge very well (used it to strip electrical wire in Afghanistan) and it is still going strong. Best knife I’ve ever owned.

A perfect companion in the forest. It was my first Mora I bought it in 2008 and used it all over the world, from jungle and rain forest to desert and tundra and it always served like a champ 13 years (and a lot of resharpening) later. When anyone asks about getting their first proper knife I direct them to the 2000 without fail.
