Built for the Demands of the Wilderness
Built for the Demands of the Wilderness
- Robust full tang construction. 142 mm long, 3.2 mm thick full-tang blade that runs through the entire handle for maximum strength. The exposed rear tang can be used for batoning, scraping tinder, or creating sparks.
- Two powerful steel options:
- Garberg Grand (S): Swedish stainless steel (14C28N), hardened to 58 HRC. Exceptional edge retention, low maintenance and Scandi Grind edge for strength.
- Garberg Grand BlackBlade (C): German carbon steel (C100S), hardened to 57.5 HRC. Easy to resharpen but requires regular maintenance. Protected by a black DLC coating against rust and wear – always wipe and oil after use for best performance.
- Powerful cutting performance. The long blade delivers strength to fell small trees, split wood, carve, cut, and build shelters.
- Ferro rod compatible spine. Ground spine designed to strike sparks with a fire starter.
- Secure all-weather grip. Dark brown handle with Dala-patterned friction surface, and finger guard for a safe grip in any conditions.
- Premium leather sheath. Dark brown sheath in European, vegetable-tanned leather. The new construction with an integrated Kydex locking system holds the knife securely in place, while the leather strap allows for easy belt carry.
- Crafted in Mora, Sweden. Over 130 years of knife-making tradition. Named after the Garberg pasture outside Mora, symbolizing strength, resilience, and harmony with nature.
